Cascade is a vibrant dance company focussed on education, community and performance in the South East of England. Founded in Tunbridge Wells, Cascade provides a variety of dance classes, workshops and activities across all age groups and abilities.
Although primarily a contemporary dance company, Cascade offers classes across a range of dance styles through educational and youth activities including ballet, jazz, physical theatre and street dance.
Cascade strives to be innovative in its approach by providing dance activities that are creative and inspiring offering high quality, inclusive programmes which are accessible to all.
History
Cascade Dance was founded in January 2007 by Middlesex University graduates Ricia Coleman and Samantha Blackden. Discovering a lack of contemporary dance culture within Tunbridge Wells they decided to create a company in Kent that would reflect its growing success in places like London.
