Company Dancers

Melanie Ward trained at Bretton Hall College, University of Leeds and gained a first class BA Honours degree in Dance. Since joining Cascade in 2007, Melanie has performed in all of the company's work to date, developing her skills as a dancer, teacher and choreographer. Melanie currently teaches dance at a Secondary School in Bromley, Kent.

Charlotte Greaves trained as a Checcetti Scholar at the London Studio Centre and studied dance at The Place before gaining a BA (Hons) in Dance Studies at Middlesex University. Charlotte gained a PGCE in Secondary Dance at Exeter University in 2009 and currently works at a Grammar School in Dartford. Alongside performing with Cascade, Charlotte is also co-founder of Dance Resources

Kevin Jewell studied Sport Science at Brighton University before performing at Sadlers Wells Xposure festival and European Deaf Arts Festival in Reims representing the UK. He has worked with Frontline Dance Company and SignDance Collective. He is currently a member of Deaf Men Dancing and Head of Dance at a Bromley Secondary School.

Sarah Walker completed both a Bachelors and Master's Degree in Dance at Chichester University. Throughout her training Sarah, worked with choreographers such as Liz Aggiss, Hanna Gilgren and Kerry Nicholls, performing their works on a national and international tour. Sarah has a Diploma in Dance Instruction and teaches ballet, tap, modern, jazz, street and contemporary throughout Kent. Sarah joined Cascade in 2012 and currently teaches for and performs in the company.

Hannah Bertram trained at the London Studio Centre and graduated with a BA(Hons) in Theatre Dance. She has since performed in a variety of events including Tap Attack, Move It and London Fashion Week. Hannah joined Cascade in 2012 and performs with the company.

Hannah Lockyer trained at Roehampton University and Laban, gaining a BA (Hons) in Dance Studies and a Post Graduate Certificate: Dance in Community. Hannah studied contemporary dance techniques with a focus in Cunningham, Release, and Limon. Since graduating she has worked alongside Sadlers Wells, London Youth Dance, Wayne McGregor Random Dance and Rambert Dance. Hannah joined the Cascade Performance Company in 2012.
